Kinzo in the Helmut Jahn building on Potsdamer Platz

Subtile lightness in the iconic collection

Building Redevelopment, Berlin, 2025
Between glass, sky, and city, Kinzo has created a working environment for an international consulting firm in the newly positioned Das Center on Potsdamer Platz that combines calm, clarity, and precision—without fanfare, but with a palpable attitude. Yes, leadership needs a stage. But preferably a quiet one.

New Work in existing buildings: From space strategy to hybrid office landscape

The reorganization of space—fewer square meters, more quality — has resulted in a finely composed office landscape. In addition to individual offices, there are hybrid meeting rooms, open lounge areas, and quiet retreats with views of the covered courtyard; the visual axis to the Tiergarten park and the government district provide a distant view for work.

The open kitchen serves as a social hub, a place for interaction beyond formal meetings. A small library, chaise longue rooms for frequent travelers, and green niches expand the typology to include places for concentration and mindfulness—including plants from the previous office. Preservation as a design strategy? Exactly.

Interior design in dialogue: material, light, and attitude

In dialogue with the architecture designed by Helmut Jahn, Kinzo responds with warm, tactile interiors featuring wood, precise textiles, and accentuated colors. The color concept follows the changing sky and seasons at Tiergarten — a spatial walk along the gently curved interior corridor.

Together with jack be nimble, a dynamic lighting concept is created: changing light temperatures accompany the day; an expanded metal ceiling with integrated light profiles translates technical complexity into visual calm.

Sustainable innovation through smart collaboration

In cooperation with Timmler Technologies, the Gravivent gravity cooling system will be integrated into an acoustically effective wooden wall for the first time—maintenance-free, powerless, recyclable. This is where ecological responsibility and aesthetic quality meet workplace design that is better experienced than staged.
True confidence does not require a loud voice
A workspace that combines professionalism with elegant simplicity; interior design for people who think and lead change. Not a showcase, but a statement of attitude—calm, clear, self-evident.
